Hi.
I knew about this special Graph 35+, but I've never seen any. It seems to be quite rare.

I suppose it was a very short-lived redesign, between the lime-green Graph 35+ redesign ( http://casio.ledudu.com/pockets.asp?type=236 - 2009 apparently ? ) and the Graph 35+ USB released for back to school 2009 ( http://casio.ledudu.com/pockets.asp?type=2735 ).

They are not that rare. I have seen quite a lot on Ebay France.
About two per week, but currently I can't find a single one.
It's a modern and solid reincarnation of the classic CFX-9850GB+/fx-9750G+ calculators.
Basically, the last real software update happened in 1998 and this model is from 2008:
http://www.spiderpixel.co.uk/caspro/subhtml/history.html
2002: CFX-9850GB+ white edition -> just updated exterior
2002: fx-9750G+ -> just the CFX-9850GB+ software update
2004: CFX-9850GC+ -> more RAM, no program library (similar to other models)
At least they had to change the LCD controller code and they seem to have updated some other parts too, like "auto power off" from 6 min to 10 min similar to what was done in OS 2.00 in 2009. The legendary CFX software bugs are still there...
And boy, no mask ROM and the CPU oscillator is also dramatically smaller compared with older models. Also note that there are solder pads for two RAM types: The larger one appears to have the same dimensions as on the CFX calculators and we know that those calculators were discontinued in 2008. Coincidence? I don't think so...
I believe the fx-9750GII was planned to be released in 2010 along with the fx-7400GII. The Hitachi HCD62121 CPU is a custom design. Maybe it was too expensive to continue production for a single device.
